Welcome to the 2011-2012 Performance Team Below is info about upcoming performances, fundraiser, uniforms, ect..... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- September-December 2011 Performance Team Schedule Most local performances do not finalize their schedules and info until 1 or 2 weeks prior. Below is everything I have so far, I will email you more information on the specific events as I get it... If your school or organization is having an event that we could perform at, please let me know and I can see if we can schedule it in! It is always fun to perform for classmates and friends! As more performances are added, and dances are choreographed, the Sat 4-?pm practice schedule will be modified September Sat Sept 10th, 4-5pm Practice for All Performance Team Dancers *Please bring your uniform order form filled out and signed. You do not need to include any money. *In addition to ordering uniforms, we will run your dances from June (these will be what we perform until we learn a new dance). In addition to performing, PT members will help with games, activities, face painting, crafts, trick or treating through the shopping center and a costume parade... You will receive an email invite to pass along to friends and neighbors. All are welcome (ages 3+) Attendants Must RSVP and pre-pay to reserve a spot!!! (PT members will not be charged the $10 of course...) If anyone has Fun Halloween Decorations that they are willing to lend HDC, it would be greatly appreciated. Sun Oct 30th 3pm Possible Newark Halloween Parade ~ not confirmed yet... November Sat Nov 5th Practice Sat Nov 12th 4pm Set up, 5-8pm Holiday Shopping Fundraiser Sun Nov 13th 10-1pm Holiday Shopping Fundraiser Don't Panic, you won't have to sell wrapping paper or cookies! This event will be hosted at HDC. The PT will be collecting gently used dance attire and dance shoes/accessories to re-sell. December Sat Dec 3rd Practice Thu Dec 8th 7pm Holiday Performance at the Hockessin Fire Hall Sat Dec 10th 6-8pm Parents Night Out Fundraiser Sat Dec 17th Holiday PT Party Dec 27-31st Trip to Orlando to perform in the Champs Sports Bowl and Universal Studios Macy's Parade More info on this will follow shortly as we have to finalize soon! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Performance Team Fundraiser's ~ With a trip this year, we will have to step up our fundraising so that we can cover as much of our trip as possible! Performance Team Members will have the opportunity to raise funds for their Uniforms and other Expenses throughout the year. Proceeds from each Fundraiser will be distributed evenly among the Performance Team Members that volunteered during that event, and applied to their “account”. At the end of the Year, the balance (if any) will be due. For Example: Say the Uniform, accessories and Hershey Park ticket all cost $100 (easy even #) Each time your daughter helps with a fundraiser, her portion of the funds from that event will be applied to this $100 Say over all the fundraisers, we made $85 each... After the last Fundraiser in May/June, you will receive a bill for the remaining $15... Water: Each Performance Team Member is asked to bring in a case of water. Any brand, whatever is on sale. One Case of 24 bottles will get $18 posted to your “account” Bake Sales Bake Sales will be scheduled throughout the year at HDC. PT members will be responsible for bringing baked goods to set up at a table either in front of the studio's window or in the waiting room (depending on the weather/time...) I will have schedules made so that the table is covered by different PT members during the bake sale. Fundraiser Advertising- HDC will email current and past students and post all events at HDC. PT members are responsible for hanging flyers at school, local businesses, inviting friends in person, on facebook, via email. Some events can also be called in to radio stations or posted on websites but this is the responsibility of Performance Team Members… The more guests we have, the more money we raise, the less you have to pay! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Performance Team Fee's $75 due September $75 due January Balance of Uniform Account Due after last fundraiser in May/June -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Uniforms: See below, please print, fill out, sign and return by the end of practice on Saturday, September 10th.
